Welcome to the NZ Skydiving DZ operator section
This section is for drop zone operators affiliated with NZ Skydiving. It brings together the information and services you need to manage your affiliation and support safe skydiving operations.
NZ Skydiving promotes safe skydiving through education, training and qualifications, and provides advice and support to affiliated operators. Here you can update your operator information, submit statistics and incident reports, apply for PLA approvals, and access guidance and resources.
Safety culture
A positive safety culture starts with a visible commitment from the people leading an operation. Leaders set the example by following safe practices, encouraging open reporting and acting on concerns. Trust and clear communication help everyone understand risks and contribute to safer decisions.
Safety management systems
A safety management system (SMS) helps an operator identify risks, manage them and review how well its safety practices are working. It should reflect the operation and cover areas such as training, communication, standard operating procedures, safety and incident reporting, assessments and emergency planning.

Incident and accident reporting
Accurate reporting helps operators understand what happened, identify patterns and make informed safety decisions. Over time, the information also helps NZ Skydiving build a clearer picture of risks across the sport and develop useful safety guidance. Every complete, timely report contributes to that learning.
Affiliated operators can submit incident and accident reports online. Once logged in, you can view your operation’s historical reporting data and the combined annual totals for all NZ Skydiving operators.

Statistics
Good data helps you see how your operation is changing over time and make more informed decisions. As an affiliated operator, you can access historical statistical reports through your operator account.
