GOT AN IDEA FOR A SKYDIVING EVENT?
NZ Skydiving has new event funding available for the 2026/27 season, with any NZ Skydiving member able to apply for up to $750 per event.
At the heart of these new funding initiatives is **retention** — creating more opportunities for our members to keep jumping, keep progressing and stay connected with our skydiving community.
Funding is available across three areas:
- **A/B Licence Progression** — helping newer jumpers build skills, confidence and momentum
- **Competition Skydiving** — supporting training and development across all disciplines
- **C Licence+ Retention, Community & Progression** — creating opportunities for experienced jumpers to develop their skills, jump together and stay engaged with the sport
We’d especially love to see experienced skydivers stepping up with ideas and working with their local DZ to create more opportunities for our community to jump, learn, progress and connect.
You don’t need to be an established event organiser. If you’ve got a great idea, this funding is here to help you turn it into an event.
